We had to read a long story about how to be responsible for borrowing stuff and to use money properly. After that I had to answer questions from the quiz, I got all the questions correct. Next I would like to learn more about algebra.

Jump In!
The Students at Glen Innes School were given an opportunity to perform to the community of Glen Innes at the G.I centre. The pubic crowded around our school as the classes skipped to an amazing variety of songs. All the performances were different, and I’m pretty sure if you were there you would enjoy yourself, just like the audience did.
Courage and confidence was taken on the stage every time the classes perform. Different tricks and skipping styles were performed. I thought that room 9, 10, 11 and room 12’s skipping routines were the best. Room 12 need to practice getting set and ready faster.
The reason why we are skipping is to keep active and fit and to keep our hearts pumping, and thats what we surely did. When we performed a red bucket was taken around so the crowd could donate money to give to the heart foundation.
In conclusion, I enjoyed skipping in front of a lot of people. My advice to you is if you have a skipping rope and you have nothing to do. Get outside and skip, your doing yourself a favour.

Word Problems: Mutiplication and Division.
I had to find the product of 9 and 6 by building a model. I had to figure out how many inches does a car move in 4 seconds. Every car moves 9 inches ever second. It was easy to answer the question because I already know my times tables. Next I would like to learn how to build a different model to answer multiplication and division word problems.

Decimal Revision
This game was to help me revise my knowledge about decimals. Some of the equations were difficult, but the question on the right was easy to figure out. I converted 1/4 into a decimal which is 0.25, then I added 8.5 and 0.25 together to get my answer. Next I would like to learn how to add bigger decimal numbers with fractions.

Comparing Decimals
W.A.L.T: solve problems in multiplication and division that has decimals.
Comparing the decimals with symbols was challenging, but I was able to work my way around it. I would like to improve my score by getting 100%. Next I would like to learn how to multiply decimals by decimals mentally.
