Five plus a day is what I say,
So eat your colours everyday.
When you eat it, your love it.
So junk food is a waste of time,
So take my advice and you'll be fine.
" Crunch, crunch, crunch," went the sound of the tasty lettuce in my sandwich. Glen Innes school is going five plus a day. " You have to get creative, " Says one of the teachers.
As Mr Hendricks our Principal says the prayer, in my head I am thinking about how creative I am going to be. There was cucumbers, lettuce, grated carrots, grated cheese, ham, and tuna mixed with apple was provided by Pak' n Save, which is our sponsor for this term.
Tuna and apple! You must be saying to yourself, how revolting that will taste? But to be honest you should just try something new. Firstly you can start by cutting some apples up in small pieces, then just add the apples to the tuna. Add salt, pepper and a bit of lemon juice, then your finished. Its quick, simple and excellent for kids lunches. So just take that challenge and do it some day. You will love it.

Chloe, I love how you start with rhymes. It adds rhythm and makes reading this a lot of fun, I had to read it again. I have to say that tuna and apple does sound a little weird but I think I actually will try it one day. I really enjoyed reading this Chloe :)
I like the way you started on your story, it's also interesting.
